Another great Thanksgiving resource for ESL is the Charles Schulz classic–A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Talk about American culture! As a child of the 70’s, this cartoon was as much a part of my holiday as turkey, parades, and football. Linus’ telling of the Thanksgiving story is an enjoyable history lesson. And who can forget the Thanksgiving dinner of popcorn and jelly beans? Great music, too. Enjoy!

I was just on youtube yesterday looking for this cartoon. It and the Xmas one, are my all time favorite holiday specials. I have added them to my favorites, to watch with my children next week. Great post

Remember the days when you’d wait and wait for the airing of the Charlie Brown special? Everyone was glued to their TV at the precise same time. Seems funny now, in the days of TiVo, dvd’s, and video on demand. It was so special. I love to share my old favorites with my kids.
