French Songs for Groundhog Day: le Jour de la Marmotte

In North America, all eyes will soon be on the lovable groundhog. February 2 is Groundhog Day, or as they say in French-speaking Canada, le jour de la marmotte. Will he see his shadow–son ombre? Let’s hope not. I don’t think I can take another six weeks of winter!

French learners can sing a song or two about les marmottes. Listen and enjoy!
