Wash Your Hands Songs in French

french hand washing song

I’m working on a French lesson about washing your hands for my kindergarten lesson tomorrow morning. I’ll post more specifics after I try it out, but I just made up a cute song. I’m publishing it now so I don’t forget:

(Tune of “London Bridge”)

Je me lave les mains . . . c’est bon,
Avec de l’eau et du savon,
Je frotte et frotte et puis je rince
Au revoir, microbes!

(I wash my hands, that’s good
With water and soap,
I rub and rub and then I rinse
Goodbye germs!)

Here’s another:

(Tune of “Farmer in the Dell”)

Lavez-vous les mains, lavez-vous les mains,
Faites mousser, frottez, rincez
Lavez-vous les mains.

(Wash your hands, wash your hands
Lather, rub, rinse
Wash your hands!)

Edited to add:  Lesson’s done and it was a huge hit!  Click here to read more.
