Another weekend of workshop presentations! This time I went back home for the Michigan World Language Association (MiWLA) conference. I had the BEST time seeing old and new friends. I shared my content-related elementary Groundhog Unit, and then I presented my favorite teaching ideas in a 3-hour workshop called “It’s a FLES for All! Active Communication Tasks for K-12 Learners.”
I kept hearing stories about school budget cuts that were keeping some colleagues at home this year. So Catherine and I at Foreign Language House decided to put together an affordable workshop that teachers can attend in the comfort of their own homes.
