French Rain Songs

Published on March 15, 2010 by in French, Songs

Today I have a simple song for you in French about the rain.  It will really help beginners learn vocabulary, and teaching it with visuals and props is a must!  It’s to the tune of Frère Jacques:

La pluie, la pluie (rain)

Les nuages, les nuages, (clouds)

Le tonnerre et les éclairs, le tonnerre et les éclairs (thunder and lightning)

L’arc-en-ciel, l’arc-en-ciel (rainbow)

  1. I love all the various activities you have on this blog. This really appeals to a variety of learning styles. Kids love learning by songs. I teach English to 4 year-olds and we love to sing songs.

  2. Diane

Thanks Shelly! I love songs, too!
