We launched some brand new websites the other week that we’re really excited about. MyABCfrench.com and MyABCSpanish.com will teach language “one letter at a time.” We decided to develop a series of vocabulary-building activities organized around the alphabet theme. In this way, the learner gets constant pronunciation/letter practice while discovering various nouns, verbs, reading, or culture. Each theme will include a free narrated slide show, bulletin board printables, and (for purchase) a packet of printable flash cards, games, and worksheets. We’ve also got links for recommended ABC books and music in French and Spanish.
This idea is only a little over a week old, so there are only a few ABC themes currently published. (And I’m already annoyed with those pesky X’s, W’s, and Y’s!) We have SO many planned that will be coming out in the next few months, so bookmark the sites & check back often. Comment if you have some themes you’d like to see.
