Yabla offers outstanding programs for teen/adult learners at home or in a classroom. You’ll find music videos, newscasts, features, and more. There’s a huge variety of up-to-date, authentic videos of native speakers. I’ve personally used Yabla with high school learners, and I can tell you that I’m impressed. Not only did my students demonstrate improved language proficiency, but they actually asked for more homework! (Teenagers . . . requesting homework and wanting to work ahead. I’m still stunned.) I received positive feedback from students, colleagues, and parents. I have been a teacher for many, many years, and this is one of the most exciting and motivating new programs I’ve come across in a long time.
